This pass connects Wayanad to Kozhickode district (NH 212). There are nine hairpin bends in this 14 km long pass. This great pass is known for it's beauty and danger. This is the main pass to Wayanad & Mysore. Crowded with the traffic, it starts from Adivarum,a small town in Kozhikode district. Thamarassery Churam, Wayanad Churam, Thamarassery Ghat, Wayanad Ghat, Kozhikode-Wayanad Churam/Ghat, etc. The correct name is but Thamarassery Ghat.
